I had a beer one night with the new bar owners. They no longer operate a cafe. There are no more restrictions, and a 4 km round trip trail begins at this location.

The parking area is mostly flat and has picnic tables, a playground, and toilet facilities. It is quiet, located away from the road, and offers nice views.

It is a quiet night with only the car park being occupied. The fisheries appear to be closed, and the buildings are not in use.
