This peaceful location by the Elbe-Havel Canal offers tranquility and a chance to relax. Occasionally, a ship passes by, adding to the charm of the place. Traffic noise is minimal, allowing for a quiet night's sleep. In case the area is full, there is another option on the opposite side of the canal, though it lacks a picnic area.
I am still here. Had a lovely, peaceful night. This morning, I had a brief visit from some locals who were delighted with my great review of this place. I enjoyed a leisurely breakfast at the designated area with a table and bench. Now, I am going for a pleasant stroll along the canal. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.
Due to littering and inappropriate behavior at the site, residents have lodged complaints. As a result, a barrier will be installed in the near future to restrict access to the area, as it is intended for commercial use. Unfortunately, this will further reduce the available space. It is regrettable.
