The campsite has a grassy area for tents and designated spots for motorhomes and caravans. It offers clean bathrooms, electricity, water, and gray water disposal. There is no shade, but the sun sets behind a mountain in the late afternoon.
The new facility has large, private showers with sinks. It is located near hiking trails in the Hohe Tauern area. A recommended hike is to walk to the Mallnitz train station, then follow signs to Rabisch Gorge, enjoying beautiful waterfalls along the way. You can return by hiking bus using free tickets from the campsite.
Great location with a view of the Alps. There are excellent hiking and biking options. During mid-June, there were few guests. The staff is very friendly. It is a place worth visiting again.
