The parking spot is owned by the inn. It is important and advisable to make a stop here. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but guests can still stay overnight.
We stayed here for two nights and found the campsite to be very good. The fee was 8 euros, plus an additional 2 euros per person for tourist tax. The guesthouse offers delicious food and the staff are incredibly friendly. We would definitely stay here again.
After 20 years, we returned to the beautiful Tannheimertal. We received a warm welcome from the owner and had the entire camping site to ourselves for two nights. The food was delicious, the atmosphere cozy and relaxed, and the staff very friendly. We were able to empty our toilet and refill the fresh water before leaving. All of this for only 12 € per night.
