There is a free fishing boat ramp made of concrete, along with a birdwatching shed. Local residents have reported spotting a sea eagle that has a nest nearby. The area offers a pleasant view of the lake, although there is a treatment plant situated behind. Fortunately, there is no noticeable odor. If you look to the north (not clearly visible in the picture), you can see the burnt forest from a recent fire. There is some noise coming from nearby road 66.
