This park offers ample picnic tables and drinking water facilities. It also provides Turkish toilets and various parking areas, including one near a pond. It is a wonderful place for families with children and pets. Although there are a few stray dogs, they are generally friendly and pose no threat. Additionally, the park is conveniently located just 30 minutes away from the border.
This spacious area offers plenty of shaded spots for picnics and occasional music sessions at night in the far corners. However, it is important to note that the area can be littered with debris and broken glass. Despite this, staying for two nights was without any issues.
There are a lot of people, many places, and fire pits here. There are also stray dogs, but overall, it's a good place to start our journey in Turkey. We prefer it here than in the city, although the city was also nice.
