We passed through Gaua smoothly, staying close to the road and sleeping well. There were some shadows and a few branches of trees hanging low. The next morning, some cyclists and hikers passed by from there.
There is a small picnic area located along the Northwest Greenway, which is part of the Mula-Bullas pilgrimage route to Caravaca de la Cruz. The area has enough space for two vans or motorhomes to park on gravel. On the other side of the old railroad stop, there are tables, wooden benches, trash bins, and trees providing shade. The space can accommodate one or two small California-type vans, but the low branches of the trees should be taken into consideration. The area is surrounded by orchards and is in close proximity to a Sanctuary. It is a popular spot for weekend strolls.
