Picnic area

Located next to the picturesque Drau River, this area is a haven for wildlife such as the small wolf and the wild cat. Nature lovers will delight in the enchanting sounds of the surrounding environment.

This scenic spot by the river is absolutely stunning. We enjoyed a perfect night here with pleasant weather, melodic birdsongs, and playful fish in the river. Although there is a fireplace and three tables, it's important to note that there is no waste bin available. We were visited by the police, as the river marks the border to Croatia, but they confirmed all was well and left. Please remember to take your trash with you when you depart.
