I stayed in Lahti during an event and had a pleasant experience. There are beautiful walking paths to explore in the area, and it's an easy 15-minute walk to the town center. I had the opportunity to witness a stunning sunset over the lake. It's worth noting that it might be quieter when there's no event taking place. There is a decent restaurant conveniently located across the street. Additionally, parking was free for 24 hours.
