Convenient free parking near the waterfront available. Note that the road is closed during winter.
The place is decent with multiple seating areas. We were completely alone and it was generally very quiet. However, there seem to be some long-term campers here occasionally. There were still noticeable marks on the grass from previous campers. Otherwise, there are many other good accommodation options 5-10km eastwards towards Lillehammer.
The place is currently clean, including the toilet. Last night, there were a VW bus and a Marco Polo nearby. The street is barely used and the parking area is separated by a row of bushes. The lake is just 10 meters away, with a nice seating area. You can enjoy a great view of Rundemellen and a beautiful sunset.
