This picnic area is excellent for outdoor gatherings. It is located near the Rio and offers amenities like walking paths, games for children, barbecues, and a football field. There are shaded areas and it is easily accessible by all vehicles. We stayed there for three nights during the week and had a great experience. It might be more crowded on weekends.
The area is beautiful with wide spaces for peaceful walks in nature. You can watch eagles, vultures, and hares during the day. Let's keep it clean. The GPS may suggest a dirt road for 5 km, but it's unnecessary. Just keep straight on the road and turn into the picnic area.
