The road is currently closed beyond the entrance due to ongoing bridge repairs. There is no O2 signal in the area. We stopped for lunch but decided to continue our journey afterwards.

Ouseburn Free Landing is a car parking area with river access. You can find it by turning left just before the toll booth. There are picnic tables and logs available for sitting. The river bank may have nettles, but there is a useful jetty when there are no boats. Keep in mind that there may be noise from traffic and the nearby Scout Centre. Remember to make a donation and thank the Great Ouseburn Parish Council for maintaining the site for everyone to use.
