Stayed here overnight on the way to Scotland. The owner was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The place is surrounded by meadows in a peaceful location. We will definitely be stopping here again on our way back. Highly recommended.

Introducing Swingate Caravan and Camping Site, a new addition for 2020! This self-contained site is conveniently located on the outskirts of Strelley Village, with nearby amenities within walking distance. It is a dog-friendly site with secure fencing and offers up to 5 pitches (CL site). Situated just 5 minutes from Junction 26 of the M1 in Nottingham, it boasts various facilities including pet-friendly fencing, a chemical disposal point, water, and secure parking. Regrettably, electric hook-up points are not available. Nearby attractions include a 10-minute walk to Mulberry Cafe, the Stones of Monks Path, scenic country walks, and several pubs. It is also a short 10-minute drive to Giltbrook Retail Park and a tram stop to Nottingham city center. For those interested in visiting Wollaton Hall, it is only a 20-minute drive away. I contacted the owner of the site to inquire about the possibility of disposing our black waste there. He kindly granted us permission and I paid him a reasonable fee of £5. The owner was friendly and the site appeared to be well-maintained and organized.
