We spent the night near a quaint train station by a beautiful wood. The view of the lake was nice, and although the occasional sound of the passing train was noticeable, it did not disturb our stay.
We stayed above the train station as staying directly by the water seemed unfair to the other vacationers. The grounds were muddy due to the weather. Occasionally, a train would pass by. The adventure path around the small lake is highly recommended!
This is a pleasant accommodation option for an overnight stay. We visited in February and found it to be peaceful. However, it may not be as quiet during the summer months. We chose to park our vehicle on the concrete surface situated between the shelter and the lake. There was occasional noise from passing cars and trains, but it was far from being a busy highway.
