This location has some drawbacks, such as sandy ground and littering, which is common in many parking areas in Morocco. However, it is easily accessible by road, even for larger vehicles. It offers a quiet and safe place to sleep, away from busy towns. Local people often visit to enjoy the sunset over the lagoon and are friendly and welcoming. This is a much better option compared to finding parking in Mohammedia, which can be challenging.

I arrived on a Thursday evening to find the place initially quiet with a few locals in the distance. However, it turned out they were there to drink and cause a lot of disturbance. There was loud shouting in every direction, as loud as the dogs that were constantly barking. Around 11 PM, they even tried to steal my bike which was locked to my camper van. I decided to leave. The area was full of litter and debris. Maybe I just had bad luck, but I don't recommend this spot.
