Please note that the parking lot for hiking is small in size. Visitors should be aware that the road leading to the parking lot is narrow, and no motorhomes longer than 7 meters are permitted. However, once you arrive, you will be rewarded with a spectacular view.
Beautiful view, no issues with parking our converted van. The moonrise was stunning in the evening, and in the morning, cows came to greet us. The temperature at night was comfortable at 14°. We were still able to find a parking spot despite people going to the nearby traditional alpine restaurant on August 21st. After our meal, we found a flat spot to reposition. It was a peaceful night, with other vans nearby, but plenty of space so no problems.
Beautiful place indeed! However, it's not quite suitable for people like us who are staying in a tent. The strong winds are loud and the cows' bells create a concert all night long. With only a thin layer of fabric for sound insulation, it made for a very uncomfortable night. It's highly recommended to bring earplugs!
