Clean, well-maintained property owned by a friendly older gentleman. The driveways are covered with gravel and the restrooms are clean with hot water available. Children can enjoy a playground and a grassy area for playing sports. Multiple water connections are available and there is a separate building for laundry. No internet access is provided. Tents can be set up in a designated green space. The owner is helpful and offers advice on recreational activities.
The property met all expectations and described amenities were present. However, there was no provision for greywater drainage on the ground. The availability of Wi-Fi with internet access was limited to the reception area, which was located 20 meters away.
We made an online reservation and received our pitch number and site map. The process of driving in and parking was hassle-free. The site was well-maintained, with clean showers and facilities. Our children had a great time at the playground. The village and Abbey of Lacock were easily accessible by foot.
