This picnic area is located next to the river and offers tables, a fountain, and wastebaskets. It has plenty of grass and shade, as well as a playground with a seesaw, swings, and slide. You can explore various walking and cycling routes nearby. The town, which has all essential services, is just a 5-minute walk away. We stayed here for 2 nights in May and found it to be a peaceful and comfortable location.
I rate it 2 stars because although the place is likely very comfortable and peaceful to sleep, there is a nuclear power plant a couple of kilometers away that gives off a negative vibe. I mention this because I personally dislike sleeping near such places, call me picky.
Enjoy a peaceful environment for a day trip or overnight stay, but be aware that temperatures drop significantly at night. Otherwise, the natural surroundings are perfect. No issues with a 6m camper van.
