There is a parking area located near the start of the walking trails in Madonie National Park. From here, it is possible to walk to nearby towns such as Petralia Sottana and Soprana, which are approximately 2km away from the parking area.
A beautiful place to spend the night. We had a peaceful and refreshing night, which is unusual in Sicily during the summer. In the morning, the maintenance staff were friendly and gave us information about some worthwhile hiking trails in the area.
