This is a serene and tranquil spot under the shade of oak trees, offering a beautiful view of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Please note that the road leading to the location can be challenging to navigate during rainy weather. I personally drove up in my older Marco Polo, and it did start to warm up a bit towards the top.
The view of the Gulf of St Tropez was stunning. There were wild boars nearby in the evening, but they got scared and left. However, we were woken up at 7:30 am by workers from the community who are working on restoring the place. They were very friendly and even took our garbage bag for us!
We have settled next to La Chapelle at the very top! The view of the Bay of St Tropez is magnificent. There are not many people passing by, but there are other campers. Please note: the forest path has holes and rocks, so low vehicles should be careful. The 4G network of Free works fine. However, if there is a lot of wind, it can be unbearable due to strong gusts.
