There is a grassy parking area available at the river port. It has a picnic table and is a peaceful spot. Access is limited to vehicles under 7 tons and there are no amenities provided. You can easily reach the Marne-Rhine canal bike path by crossing the nearby bridge.
This is a great spot for accessing the Marne au Rhin canal bike path. Although the signs indicate that it is a parking area, there are no designated spots. You can park directly by the canal or on the grass on the opposite side. There is no shade and the only amenities are a trash bin and recycling bins.
Peaceful location with occasional traffic, quiet nights with the sound of frogs, good 4G and TNT signal, no amenities but nearby lock to visit and a long walk along the towpath.
