Our overnight stay and visit to the lock were satisfactory. We were able to attend the lock festival yesterday, which was enjoyable. The campground doesn't offer any unique amenities. By midday, all the spots were occupied. In the morning, there was a rush to secure spots in the first row, which was quite chaotic. The restroom and shower facilities were satisfactory.
This is a great location, but unfortunately it has not been cleared. It does have electricity, but the sewage and waste disposal services are closed.
