Velden is a charming town situated on the outskirts, with a pleasant gravel square. It is conveniently located behind an Aral gas station with a shop. One of the attractions is the Vilstal cycle path, which is built on a former railway line. It offers a beautiful scenery and is less crowded during weekdays. This location represents the essence of Lower Bavaria. However, it is important to note that from November 1st to April 1st, there is no access to electricity and water. There are no fees charged during this time. Additionally, the site is closed for a week during the Velden folk festival.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place was clean and suitable for staying 1 or 2 nights. The camping spot had access to water and electricity. In the morning, there were delicious freshly baked bread rolls available at the nearby gas station. We were the only ones there, which was fantastic!

Beautiful parking area on the outskirts of the village on flat, unpaved ground, with electricity and water posts. Well-organized facilities. The entrance is located near the gas station, although it may be a bit difficult to spot. Thanks to the local municipality. All inclusive for 7 euros.
