The location is well-maintained with approximately 50% of the campsite occupied by long-term campers. There is a separate section for dogs, including a dog-friendly beach. The beach itself is mostly rocky due to its natural state. One downside was the frequent passing of construction machinery and electric carts, which generated a lot of dust. It would be advisable to drive slower in this area.
