The "Brimnes 2019" square is located directly across from the paid parking lot of Ytre Hvaler National Park. This park offers various activities such as camping, hiking, and swimming. Just about 1 km away from the square is Skjærhallen (Skjærhalden), a small harbor where you can find ferries, boat tours, restaurants, and small shops. It's important to note that the square itself lacks any amenities such as toilets, showers, etc. Additionally, the area has a rustic charm with freely roaming chickens. The reception is a designated area with information material, envelopes, and instructions available for visitors.
There is a beautiful spot available now for a cost of 150 Kronen or 20€. Payment must be made in cash by placing it in a mailbox. A short distance away, there are also 6 parking spaces behind the town hall available for 300 Kronen for 24 hours.
This place is very pleasant and peaceful. It is surrounded by fields and forests, while still being within walking distance of the coastline. It costs 200 kr and doesn't have any amenities, but it is absolutely perfect! We will definitely return here.
The people there were very friendly. It is a beautiful location near a small town, with a lovely natural area where you can swim and an old church. We were fortunate to arrive early, as it quickly became crowded.
