Parking at the Speichersee is available, but the road access for vehicles weighing over 3.5 tons is in need of improvement. However, the tranquil surroundings and picturesque view compensate for any inconvenience caused.
This place is quite beautiful with some flat areas. The driveway is a bit rough, but manageable. We didn't find the older nudist couple next to us very attractive. They are also from the area and probably come here often. I wouldn't want to expose my children to this, so I'm deducting one star.
The area was not crowded this hot weekend, just like the beach. Unfortunately, people are leaving a lot of trash behind, which is a shame. Since it is not an official bathing beach, there are no trash cans available. However, the space is open to everyone, including families, groups, dog owners, nudists, and even horse owners who come to swim! Although camping overnight alone in the parking lot is uncommon, it is quite spacious.
