Enjoy a picturesque campsite located by the water with a private gravel beach. The site has recently reopened and offers clean and well-maintained facilities. Our stay was delightful, and we were pleased by the overall experience. Note that an adaptor is required for electricity.
This location has a convenient waterfront setting with many bike paths and excellent restroom facilities. However, the campsites are small and there is limited space for maneuvering. There are also a number of long-term residents staying in caravans, which may appeal to some, but may not be everyone's preference.
This campsite receives a rating of 3 out of 5 stars. The location is beautiful and the sanitary facilities are good. However, the noise from the road directly behind the campsite is very loud. Cars and trucks pass by until late at night, around 11 pm, and start again early in the morning, around 5:30 am. Sleeping in a closed van might be slightly better, but with a pop-top roof, it feels like being at a highway rest stop.
