A new campsite, opened in summer 2023, is situated on a dike along the IJsselmeer. The friendly operator offers helpful advice on activities. The campsite provides clean and modern sanitary facilities. The nearby town of Lemmer is within walking distance.
Pro: Close proximity to the beach and the city. Con: Some visitors found the distance to the sanitary facility quite long and were disappointed with its condition, such as moldy grout. Additionally, there was a significant amount of noise from the nearby main road, which was the most bothersome aspect for us.
This top-ranked location near the town of Lemmer is perfect. The town center is just a 15-minute walk away. The price of 28€, which includes everything, is more than fair. The beach and dog beach are just a short walk over the dike - less than 5 minutes. There are plenty of clean toilets and showers available.
