The road is not appropriate for motorhomes. Meeting another motorhome or even a car can be difficult due to limited passing spots. The "parking area" is actually just a turning point for those who try to navigate this road.

There are limited free overnight parking spots on the Kintyre peninsula. One good option is a space for one vehicle, located away from busy areas. Note that it may be windy, and there's a slight slope if you park head-in.

There is a small area for turning around before the lighthouse, which is not open to the public until the end of September. Do not park here. The road is very narrow and steep, unsuitable for regular RVs, but small vans can manage.
