This location provided us with much-needed shelter during a recent occasion when we encountered icy and snowy conditions that made it impossible for us to access the more remote trails. It was a wonderful spot, located close to the road but still offering privacy. We hardly encountered any vehicles passing by during the night, and the scenery was breathtaking. While there were no amenities available, the visitor center and several villages were conveniently located nearby.
