Camping Vallestadfossen is a beautiful location situated directly on Vallestadfossen. There is a road nearby, but it has minimal traffic and the soothing sound of the waterfall can usually be heard. The sanitary facilities are well-maintained, and the owner speaks some German. Today, we had the campground all to ourselves. They also have 7 well-equipped cabins available for rent, and dogs are welcome if needed.
Campsite near a beautiful waterfall with a peaceful atmosphere. Spacious tent area with a nice lawn, also offering rental cabins. The bathroom facilities were a bit outdated but clean. Amenities included a washing machine, stoves, and a sink for washing dishes. We paid a very low price of 180 NOK for two people. Definitely worth it!
The campground will be closed on May 11th. We moved a little further on the parking lot after the pass.
