We stayed at a campground on 22/01/22 after a spontaneous trip to Delamere Forest. We were happy to find an available spot, and the site was well-maintained with clean toilets and washing facilities. There was a convenient gate on site for walking to Delamere. The only downside was the cost, which was £32 for 2 people, a camper, and electric hookup for 1 night in January. Caravan club members would have received a £7 discount.
It is recommended to avoid this place. The price of 63 Euros for one night is not worth it, it is better to stay in a hotel instead. It is noisy and located near a road. There are no separate recycling bins for glass, plastic, etc. Everything is mixed together. The showers have unhygienic plastic curtains. It would be better to check out the campsites in the Cumbria region, which are excellent and offer more affordable prices.
