This is a peaceful location for swimming with a pleasant view. The lakebed is relatively even, making it easier to navigate. Although the access road may be steep, it is generally safe to travel on unless there is ice. While the road may have some bumps, there are no significant potholes. Convenient beachside parking is available.

The hotel we visited in mid-February 2019 was a great choice. It offered a peaceful atmosphere, with the only sounds being the gentle crashing of waves.
