Enter the off-street parking area only when approaching from the direction of Ayr. There is a no-entry sign for those traveling towards Ayr, so it is necessary to turn right at the top of the hill to enter, which may be unsafe.

If there are no other options for sleeping, there is a not-so-charming place next to the highway. It can be a bit noisy with trucks speeding through the parking lot, but I managed to have an okay night. You can see the ocean at the end of the parking lot.
