Last night, I parked my car here for a quick overnight stay. There were no barriers when I arrived at midnight. It was pleasantly quiet with no sounds of traffic. Despite heavy rain in the morning, there were no indications of flooding in any part of the parking lot. Dog walkers began arriving around 08:30, but there was still ample space to exit the area without any issues.
We parked our vehicle at this location on Wednesday at 5pm. It was a peaceful and secure spot for an overnight stay. It was convenient, as it took just over ten minutes to reach the town centre. In the morning, there is a nearby Wetherspoon's where you can have breakfast. On Wednesdays, The Angel Inn offers a deal: if you buy two glasses, you get a free bottle along with a cheese pate platter for £20. Please note that the park toilets were closed.
