There is a camping site conveniently located near the Steinhuder Meer. It offers 8 spaces for motorhomes or caravans. Guests can also enjoy a restaurant on-site, with the reception conveniently located there as well.
We had a wonderful spot in the front row with a view of Steinhuder Meer. There were only a few spots available for motorhomes, the rest were occupied by long-term campers. Electricity was included with a flat rate. The bathroom facilities were excellent, new and very clean. The reception at the Fischerstübchen was very friendly and uncomplicated. We would love to return.
Well-organized and conveniently located. It's a bit cramped and noisy at times, but all the necessary amenities are available, including water at the site. The restaurant is also good, but it's advisable to make a reservation in advance as it tends to be busy. Apparently, the infamous attendant is no longer around ;-)
