Gammel Rye Campsite is a spacious and peaceful camping spot with a rustic feel similar to a farm. It offers a calm atmosphere and charges 45 dkr per person per day. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated but still functional, providing the basic necessities for your stay.
The bathroom facilities are outdated, to say the least. They seem straight out of the 1950s! As for the peaceful countryside, it might be true unless a group of friends decides to have a party in the meadow, drinking all night long! We decided to turn back... However, under the right conditions, it can be quite nice, and it costs 55kr per person.
One of our most beautiful places in Denmark, a true favorite. Peaceful amidst the woods, plenty of walks with our dogs and a warm welcome. We will definitely be back.
