There are affordable tavernas, restaurants, and a small grocery store open until November. A clothing-optional beach is a 15-minute walk away. While sleeping in vehicles is banned in Greece, it is not enforced in Gavdos. Fuel can be purchased at the port for 3 euros per liter.
