The campsite near Liverpool is conveniently located on the outskirts. It offers plenty of parking spaces, some of which are shaded by trees, providing a comfortable and cool atmosphere.
Affordable last-minute booking available for £20 a night. The site is well-maintained with clean toilets, showers, and a play area. However, the on-site play barn is quite expensive at £9 per play, which may not be worth it. Nevertheless, the staff is helpful and friendly. Please note that pitches are close together, which might be a concern during summer when spending time outside.
The site was untidy and had overgrown nettles near the campervan. The rear doors were hard to open. The pub was closed on Monday, despite the notice stating it would only be closed for the weekend. The café was not well-maintained and had limited food options. The site was muddy and cramped. It was also quite expensive. We do not recommend it.
