The parking lot at "Jurafaune" animal park is suitable for vehicles of all sizes, with a stabilized and level surface. To stay overnight, permission from the site manager is required. This parking area is a good option during rainy weather, as opposed to the grass parking lot for motorhomes located 500 meters away, which has caused vehicles to get stuck. Although there are no amenities, satellite and 4G reception is excellent. It is an ideal spot for spending the night, and you can also take a walk to the village through the forest. The path is downhill to the village, with a brisk uphill return. It is also a convenient starting point for hikes and is dog-friendly.
We spent 2 nights in the parking lot after obtaining permission, which was easily granted. The first night, there were 2 camper vans, and the second night, there were 6. The visit to the animal park was interesting, and the staff were very friendly. The nights were peaceful and quiet.
We were warmly welcomed and offered a complimentary overnight stay. The view overlooking the valley was stunning.
