The area is now closed off because a pile of dirt has been placed on the road. Additionally, the river has completely dried up.

Behind the climbing rock, there is a spot next to the collapsed bridge, making it a dead end. You can stand on the road or above the riverbed, but be mindful of the water level. It's a quiet place, good for sleeping and closer to the river for swimming. We enjoyed our two nights there.
