This campsite is conveniently located in the middle of the Rhine-Main area, close to Frankfurt Airport. It only takes about 5 minutes to reach the music community of Nauheim, where you can find all the necessary amenities for your everyday camping needs. The major cities of Frankfurt am Main, Mainz, Wiesbaden, and Darmstadt are all within a reasonable distance from the campsite, approximately 23 km, 17 km, 17 km, and 15 km respectively. The campsite offers a picturesque and peaceful setting near the Hegbachsee, making it an ideal spot for hiking, walking, and cycling. Additionally, if you're interested in visiting the Lutherweg in Trebur, it's just a short 5.5 km away.
The operators are very friendly. There are many long-term campers. The grassy areas are well-maintained. The new toilet building is located slightly away from the main area, but it is easily accessible due to the size of the site. The washing and shower facilities are unisex. Each cabin is equipped with a sink, a toilet (remember to bring your own toilet paper), and a shower (free of charge).
Avoid this place at all costs! The hosts became aggressive, rude, and extremely offensive. The place was dirty, poorly maintained, and overpriced. It all started when I wanted to book just one night but was told that a minimum of two nights is required. There were even more unpleasant situations that I cannot mention here. My advice: stay away!
