There is a spacious parking area located further down the road from two other spots. It offers a flat surface and provides a great view of the valley and the town of Manteigas. This parking can accommodate 2-3 small vans and provides a quiet night's rest, with occasional passersby during the afternoon and evening. From this point, you can embark on a hike towards the Poço de Inferno waterfall and eventually reach Manteigas. Alternatively, there are pleasant hikes available from the nearby picnic spot called Covão d'Ametade. Along the way, you will encounter a magnificent water fountain.
