This campsite offers a pleasant experience with a convenient package. It is peaceful during the off-peak season and can get quite busy during peak season. Children can enjoy a lovely playground and there is an opportunity for trout fishing in the nearby river.
The surroundings and area are beautiful. It is great to splash in the Prüm. The swimming pool is nice and the toilets are clean. The Eifel region is amazing. However, the campsite is too large and crowded. The campers are packed closely together in a "camping desert". It doesn't feel natural, more like a parking lot. There is a long wait for the toilets and sinks. That's a pity.
Our favorite campsite. Family-run with very friendly and helpful staff. The Prüm river runs directly through the site, which can sometimes cause flooding, but their crisis management is excellent. There is a small but nice swimming pool on-site. The dining options are delicious and the staff is very friendly. Great playground, football field, and direct access to the forest, perfect for dogs. Free and reliable Wi-Fi is available.
