There is open access from the east via Meding Schanze. The location is nothing remarkable, but we experienced peace and quiet there. It is situated next to a fenced private property, possibly former barracks or similar structures.

There is no designated parking area, but there are no clear signs prohibiting parking either. This location serves as a starting point for hiking and biking trips in the Halberstadt mountains. However, it tends to be littered, possibly due to activity from a youth club during nighttime.
