There is a picnic area located near the troglodyte houses and the fort. The fort can be reached by van or 4x4, but motorhomes should go slowly as the road is uneven. There are two beautiful ponds for rainwater along the way. At the top, you can enjoy pleasant walks around a military fort, which is not open to the public but can be visited upon request.

The area near the ditch at the entrance of the path is relatively flat. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the Laon plateau. There are several nice walks that start from here. The people are very friendly, and we even had a gentleman who kindly gave us a baguette for breakfast!
