Shkumbini Restaurant is located below the main road and offers pleasant outdoor seating surrounded by greenery. The outdoor seating provides a lovely view of the river. They were accommodating when we asked if we could stay overnight. Although the area is serene at night, there may be some minimal noise. We found it safe for our young children to play around and they enjoyed the small playground.
The staff was friendly, and the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere. However, we have experienced better options elsewhere. It's worth noting that the parking area is quite noisy as it is located beneath a busy national road. Overall, it's an okay option in a pinch.
The restaurant has a parking lot by the river. We asked if we could stay overnight after stopping for a beer. The owner and staff were friendly, allowing us to use the outdoor toilet even after the restaurant closed. They also released some dogs to keep the area safe. We felt secure and the dogs didn't bark excessively throughout the night.
