The Border Guard recommended this place to us as very secure and well-monitored by them, and indeed, they would occasionally appear at night. There is a shelter with benches, a designated area for campfires, and clean, maintained toilets for a small fee. However, one must be cautious when parking a camper during wet conditions. We almost got stuck when parking behind the toilets near the stream. Besides that, it is a wonderful and safe location.
