Welcome to Gävle Camping, the only campsite in Gävle City. Located about 12 kilometers outside Gävle in the direction of Bönan, Engesbergs Camping is a peaceful family-friendly campsite. With 83 spots offering electricity, 15 spots without electricity, 24 tent sites, and 12 cottages, there are plenty of options for accommodation. The campsite is situated along a beautiful coastline, with a sandy and grassy beach, BBQ areas, and hiking areas. The cottages are surrounded by forests, and the campsite has two levels, giving you the choice between sun and shade. Come and enjoy your stay!
Good campsite with adequate location (for November) and functioning electrical hookup. Despite our late arrival, there was still someone available to check us in and provide keys for the showers and dishwashing area. The campsite is situated along the Baltic Sea, offering a beautiful sunrise for early risers. Overall, no complaints.
The rent is 290 SEK which includes electricity. The mentioned issue regarding the toilets is still valid. The apartment has a nice kitchen and a living room with a TV. There is a noticeable presence of large mosquitoes, which is a new experience for me.
