There is a place called Fonte Acquatremola, located close to a picnic area, in a clearing surrounded by beech trees. This spot serves as the starting point for trips to the loricati pines of the Pollino. If you're coming from Mezzana Frido, be aware of a width limit of 1.90, even though the road is wider. Keep in mind that there is no cell phone coverage in this area.

Beautiful and clean in nature. The road, however, is a bit narrow. There is also a drinking fountain, picnic tables, and a trash bin. We followed the trail to the Catusa Spring, which was really beautiful. There is no internet signal, but it is available a little further ahead (with a width limit of 1.90 m, although we passed easily with a 2.30m wide motorhome).
